Winter season is here. It is the hardest time of the year for food trucks. We see our revenue drop 80% during this time of year. We are going to try something different this season to try to keep our doors open, as we traditionally hemorrhage money this time of year.
I don’t want to bore you with all the “behind the curtain” details, but we feel that if we cut down on our food and prep costs, we feel we can attempt to keep our doors open and keep our employees employed. This will only be temporary until the warmer months return. Scratchtruck will focus on burgers during this time. We will offer 6-7 burgers in a rotation, some you have seen before and some new ones. Also, all entrees will not automatically come with fries. We will still have them, but you will have to order them separately.
We will post our first “new”menu later today. As I said previously, we are trying to remain a viable company and survive the winter and we will return to our traditional menu as soon as possible. We thank you in advance for your understanding. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me firstname.lastname@example.org
